The Ridge area of Las Cruces was founded in 2009 by Marcus Delgado, a Las Cruces native who grew up in the Mesquite Historic District, just blocks from St. Genevieve Church. Marcus watched the old adobe and stucco homes on his street — some dating back to the 1850s — slowly deteriorate from neglected rooflines, cracked parapets, and flat roofs that pooled water after every monsoon season.
After spending eight years working for a regional roofing outfit out of Albuquerque, Marcus came back home with a clear vision.
